Haarlem – Wat als je muziek niet alleen kunt beluisteren, maar ook kunt vasthouden, voelen en zelfs door de zaal kunt laten bewegen? Met een bijzondere, interactieve voorstelling maakt Vocal Group Buzzz die gedachte werkelijkheid. In Theater De Liefde in Haarlem en het Amsterdamse Polanentheater brengt Vocal Group Buzzz een muzikaal programma waarin het publiek een actieve rol speelt.
Tijdens de optredens zingt de groep twaalf bekende en verrassende nummers, variërend van energieke pop tot verstilde luisterliedjes. Op het programma staan onder meer It’s Gonna Be Me, Hide & Seek, Ocean Eyes, Sterrenstof en het nummer Speed of Light van de Haarlemse band Chef’ special. De voorstelling is opgebouwd als een muzikale reis: van uitbundige energie naar verstilling en weer terug naar een gezamenlijke, feestelijke ontlading.
Wat deze voorstelling uniek maakt, is dat muziek letterlijk tastbaar wordt gemaakt. Het publiek krijgt tijdens het optreden attributen aangereikt die aansluiten bij de sfeer en emotie van de muziek. Die kunnen worden vastgehouden, doorgegeven of zelfs door de zaal bewegen. Zo ontstaat een gedeelde ervaring waarin luisteren, voelen en meedoen samenkomen.
“Je zit niet alleen in de zaal om te kijken,” aldus Buzzz. “Op een gegeven moment merk je dat je onderdeel wordt van wat er gebeurt. Muziek komt dichterbij – letterlijk.”
De interactieve elementen versterken de beleving van bekende nummers en zorgen voor verrassende momenten van verbinding tussen publiek en performers. Juist in de intieme setting van het Haarlemse en Amsterdamse theater komt die gezamenlijke energie volledig tot zijn recht.
Met deze voorstelling laat Buzzz zien dat een concert meer kan zijn dan luisteren alleen: het wordt een ervaring die je bijblijft, omdat je die samen beleeft.
